Galaxy mini users are having an exciting time these days and fortunately i am one of them.Why?Because of the number of ICS Roms that are now available for our low end device.So,here is a list of top ICS Roms for galaxy mini with links.

1.Cyanogenmod 9 beta 7

The best ICS Rom out there , in fact maybe the best Rom out there.Very smooth,with the charm of ICS and the best part of it all even the camera works now,that is,the night vision camera.So get going download it now from here.For the camera patch go here and download nightvision camera from the play store.And if you are experiencing any problems with the ROM apply this patch.

2.AOKP miestone rev 2

Its Android Open Kang Project for our mini! And that too fully working.It is fast,with beautiful wallpapers and the native AOKP Rom control option.

What is NOT working:

1) Native Camera not working but nightvision does.
2) H/W video decoding not working (need OMX libs)

# Don’t enable honeycomb lock screen. You will not be able to unlock the phone.
# Don’t add power saver toggle on power menu, it will cause you device to restart when long pressing power button!
# You don’t have to wipe data if you flash over my AOKP. Only wipe if you upgrade from CM9 / anything older than 4.0.4

3.Mini s3 v2

S3 on our mini.That’s right.This ROM runs on CM9 base with Touchwizz 5 prime as the launcher and truly s3 like appearance.It’s a delight to use it.As fast as CM9 with all the features of CM9 as well.DOwnload it from here.And apply the patches listed for CM9 here also in order to get the best performance.But if you are a die hard gamer and a heavy multitasking user i would recommend you to not to use this.

Finally,How to install these ROMS,

• Disclaimer : Do It At Your Own Risk!
  1. Download required files and updates from below :
     • Unofficial CyanogenMod 9 :cm_tass-ota-eng.08042012.zip
     • Latest Google Apps for ICS.
  2. Copy the downloaded files to the (Root directory of) your sd-card.
  3. Reboot your device to Custom Revovery (Press Home + Power Button).
  4. [Optional but, Recommended] Do a Nandroid Backup of your current ROM.
     
  5. Now from recovery main menu and select Wipe Data option.
  6. Confirm data wipe by selecting Yes.
  7. Now flash this android 4.1.1 jellybean based cyanogenmod 10 rom using clockwork mod recovery. Follow these steps :
     • Choose Install Zip From Sd Card option.
     • Select Choose Zip From SD Card option.
     • Now select cm_tass-ota-eng.08042012.zip downloaded in step 3.
     • Confirm the installation and wait till the rom is installed on you handset.
  8. Flash Latest Google Apps for ICS in CWM recovery.
     • Choose Install Zip From Sd Card option.
     • Select Choose Zip From SD Card option.
     • Now select the Gapps-06-07-12-signed.zip file which you downloaded in step 3.
     • Confirm the installation and wait till the zip is installed on you handset.
  9. Reboot your device from your recovery main menu.
